Location: the hotel was not far from local market as well as the caves below banana shout. Had nice dainties at Rick's Cafe, located not very far from the venue. Booked a room with amazing views of the sunset. A fully furnished kitchen was great and had tea/coffee making equipment, a refrigerator, and a cooker.

Grateful to Flo, Natasha, Plug, and Chemist. Real Jamaican experience. Roosters and sunsets. Swimming off cliffs. Beds made and dishes washed. Communal kitchen and meeting new people. No A/C, but fan and breeze keep cool. Authentic and memorable stay.

We had an amazing time at this resort! The staff was excellent, giving us great recommendations and entertaining stories. The resort had a boutique-like feel and was beautifully designed. The community kitchen was a great gathering place, and we met some wonderful people staying there. The location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and stores. We loved being able to swim off the cliffs and see the ocean life below. this was a unique and authentic Jamaican experience.
Nothing to mention.

I had the most comfortable sleep in the cozy Cliff Side Cottages with breathtaking sunset views. The resort grounds were peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful flowers, hummingbirds, and butterflies. The friendly staff, especially Garfield, went above and beyond to provide recommendations and entertain us with fascinating stories. The location was ideal, right next to Rick's Cafe and within walking distance of excellent restaurants, marts, and the stunning seven-mile beach in central Negril.
Nothing all good.

I had an amazing stay at Banana Shout Resort. The Red Rooster cottage was spacious and had a breathtaking view of the ocean from the balcony. I spent hours relaxing in the comfortable hammock, enjoying the cool ocean breeze. The property felt secure with a locked gate and nighttime security. Although the experience was rustic, I appreciated the lack of TV and AC, as it allowed me to fully disconnect and enjoy the local vibe. The Wi-Fi worked well and the friendly dogs on the property added to the charm. The location was perfect, with great restaurants within walking distance and easy access to transportation. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a relaxing and unique stay in Negril.

I had such an amazing time at Banana Shout in Negril. The tranquil atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made me feel completely relaxed. The views of the emerald ocean and the cliffs during breakfast were breathtaking. Exploring the caves below and snorkeling the reef were unforgettable experiences. The friendly locals and delicious Jamaican food added to the authenticity of my stay. The private retreat offered a unique and peaceful escape from the crowds and commercialism of the all-inclusive resorts. Milo and Laura were incredible hosts, making me feel like part of their family. I highly recommend Banana Shout for a truly unique and enjoyable vacation experience.

Nestled down the cliffs, the resort offers breathtaking views of the sea and access to the caves below. Guests can indulge in local restaurants nearby, enjoy privacy in the cove, and gear up for snorkeling. the rooms come equipped with mosquito nets and fans to ensure undisturbed sleep.
The resort lacks toiletries in the bathrooms, which can be inconvenient.
